Default Flex fuel L9H engine good for swap?

Looking to compile a list of suitable LSX motors for swap and would like to keep it contained to the 6.2 displacement all aluminum variety. I have a good understanding which engines have VVT and DoD and workarounds. The 2009+ 6.2 Flex fuel truck engines have the big ethanol injectors 54lbs@58psi. I will be using a LS3 intake manifold and harness, are these E injectors a direct swap? If so, does their spray pattern, which is configured to E85 make much difference if running straight gas?

Flexfuel capable engine is JUST that. Capable. They are designed to run on gas too.

I agree Jimbo.
But my question was more about compatibility of flex fuel injectors with LS3 style intake and harness. Does the flex fuel injector have the same physical dimensions and harness connector as LS3 variety? Only asking because I will need to use the LS3 intake for clearance reasons.
From your statement I take the flex fuel can run straight gas so the flex fuel sensor will not be needed? Should the ecm tune include provisions for using flex fuel injector without flex fuel sensor?
E85 gives more HP and is available in my area. Should I keep the E85 tune for engine tuned for max HP while retaining street manners? I plan on using mild steel headers, will the E85 corrode them quickly?

Sorry. I wish I knew. (SAME PHYSICAL SIZE) I'd def. keep it E85 ready.
