i might be getting a 280zx if it doesnt sell to this guy who is looking at it right now.
If so i was reading on johnscars.com that there IS NO LS-1 kit for the ZX and that it is only for the Z.
I really dont know anything bout chevy motors YET, but a 350 can also go to a 400 small block right?
I would LOVE to do a carbed 350 in it with lots of gas just for fun. Ill keep yall updated on it if i get this or not.

Any info on people who have done this would help.
thanks, ryan
Holy **** Ryan, I was just thinking about doing that. I love the way the z cars look and the weight advantage+v8=badddd..I was just talking to Tyler about it and he said you were talking about the same thing. I would be happy with a carbed 350 and m5/6 z...My only worries are the car would be my daily driver and the time it would take.. (and you gotta worry about suspension $, etc.)But you should definitley pursue this. I haven't done much research, but I think the ls1/t56 kit is only available for the z.
Check out:
NO there is no kit made for a ls1 swap into a 280zx. BUT, I think you might be able to get away with a 350 chevy kit and using ls1 adaptors...someone correct me if im wrong.
