For those of you running 01-02 LS1s - question - How many codes did you have when you got yours running?
I am trying to buy a 01-02 PCM to smog mine as a 01-02 so that I can run a LS6 intake and no EGR (wont clear the hood)
I spoke with some guy that sells them, and he said that I would throw like 50 codes if I went to a 01-02 PCM as they are integrated with the BCM, and will throw a ton of A/C, cruise control, etc codes and have the check engine light on.
Now when I first got my 00 PCM running I only had 8 codes - two fan codes, 3 EVAP codes, two AIR codes, and a EGR code. I now have all but the AIR and EGR codes gone (gonna get the air done today)

before i even tried to start the car, i already set all these DTCs to 3 with SES off:
