Default 5.3 swap in a jeep- exhaust question

will one 2.5" flowmaster hushpower muffler flow enough or be restrictive ,I am cramped for space due to the suspension travel and tubing that makes upthe rear of the jeep,do not have room for true duals

It will work but two 2.5'' in to one single 3'' outlet muffler would be better!

Yep, id try for at least a single 3" if not 3.5" if its modded...
Just cruious, but where is the space problem?
Some pics might help brainstorm some other fitment....
Possibly another type muffler, I ran Dynomax Bullets on my WS6, basically a tad larger than the pipe, thats it...(3")No bulky case to try to fit...

LMAO, well are you set on running it out the back?

If not, try for at LEAST the 3" single, but go for the 3.5" if you can swing the room....

Default Exhaust clearance...

I ran 2.5 exhaust on a 5.3 conversion for a friends jeep(tj)that was built for rock crawling(like yours)for clearance w/ no problems. The motor will have plenty of torque like that. Only problem w/ smaller exhaust is mild restiction at high RPM's which you're not needing for rock 'crawling'

01pewter-lmao?do you mean because I have a space problem or because of the jungle gym of tubing back there?
I want to make all the power I can so If 3" is what I need I will get it,when not trail/rock crawlin I wanna be bustin' black marks if you know what I mean

Little from column A, little from column B...

Well, how loud do you want it?
Dynomax Bullet, is only slightly larger than your exhaust pipe, but its pretty damn loud
Id go with either a Bullet, or FloPro twister, something along those lines....
