Default Gauge swap

I'd like to upgrade my 95 gauges to the 97+ gauges has one done this or know what is required too do so?

If you need the gauges and housing i have some out of a 99 ss for sale, they also have a white faced insert with carbon fiber trim.

the 99 gauges wont be a direct swap for you. if you get a 97 model year gauge cluster, you should be fine. only downside is the low oil light will remain on, and it will NOT go off. in some cases the ABS INOP light comes on, but thats a simple fix if you dont have ABS, just install a 40ohm resister to the cluster wire.

i put the 97 gauges in my 88 iroc, there was a lil more involved in the 98+ gauges. 97 gauges look the same, just get one with the digital odometer, they look much better.

thats great thank you so much.... I thought it was would be that easy but I was affraid of spending the money on a cluster I couldnt' use without buying a new BCM or somethign else...

the BCM SHOULD interchange. i havent heard any horror stories anyway. there is always a 1st.
good luck.
BTW. make sure you buy a V8 cluster if you have a v8..... etc.

firebird dash, no chance on a camaro dash.
97-02 camaro and 93-02 firebird guages are interchangeable fitment wise.
93-96 camaro is its own ballgame.
