Painless wiring Kit
i did a search and couldnt find what i needed....will the painless kit that works for the ls1 work with an ls6?
also what computer would i use?

LS1 and LS6 are longblocks, not engine management systems, so the harness (which is part of the engine management system) will work fine.
You'll need '98 year sensors and a '98 PCM to work with the Painless harness which is pinned for '98 electronics.

You would need a different program in the 98 Comp. though because the LS6 engine wasn't around in 98. So in order to run right, it'll take osme different programming.

What I meant was that it would need tuning to run properly.

sweet yall thanks, im planin on doin an heads ,cam and ls6(?) edit on the computer from MTI ....whenever they do the edit will they tune it for an ls6?
sensors- would i be better off buying new ones? or used?
