Caution, if you get S&P or anyone else to modify your oil pickup tube like I did, double check that it fits up into the oil pump like it should. I had put my modified oil pan and pickup tube on a few months ago and thought it was ok. Last weekend I pulled my timing chain cover off to put in a new cam and oil pump and noticed the pickup tube was not bent correctly to fit up into the oil pump very good. I could see about 1/2 of the o-ring on one side. I had to remove the pan and pickup tube and rebend it to fit good.

I'm glad I had not cranked it yet.

I guess the new cam has already paid for itself.
