Default Couple of questions

First, I need to know what wires I need to hook up to the starter. I have the purple one and another one that came off the starter that was in the car. Plus I have the purple one from the engine harness. Do I need to hook up all of these?

Second, I have a newer style power steering box that takes the o-ring style ends. The factory hose won't fit, so I need some 90 degree fittings and such, plus a barbed end for the return side. Where can I get these fittings?

You don`t need the purple one in the engine harness, it is a duplicate of the purple one on the car. The purple one from the car should be hooked to the small diameter stud on the starter. What color is the second wire on the car and what kind of car is it?

What is the car you are swapping in ? might help with some details along with what engine, harness and other details.

It could be the 12+v wire to the Coil for full 12+volts on start up.. maybe Tan in color !? you don't need it.

You should be able to get some Russell (or other manufactors) adapter for the power steering box and pump. O-Ring or Inverted Flare to AN fitting and then use some SS Teflon lined SS Braided hose.

Most of your local speed shops can order what you need if they don't already carry the parts.. if not, I got my adapters and hose from Summitracing.com

It's a 00 ls1/t56 going into a 70 camaro. I'll check on the color of the wire.

Petty sure it is for the full 12+ on start up. If your Camaro has a Ballast Resitor, which cuts the voltage down to the Coil/Distributor. The wire runs from the Starter to the Coil.

I believe it is for full 12+. So I don't need to hook that up or I do?

Good, I thought I was going to need fittings and adapters to reach my box, but here the parts lady gave me the power steering hose for a 3.8 So once I get the right hose, I don't think I'll have a problem reaching the port at all.
