Default Supplier for fuel tank for 66 Impala w/pump

Doing an LS1 conversion for a guy with a 66' Impala. I would like to replace the tank and see if someome manufactures one for fuel injection application.

Anyone have any suppliers that have this?

I tried to find one too. Working on a 1965 Impala. We ended up dropping the tank and baffling it.

Rick's Hot Rod shop or Rock Valley are too sources for custom tanks...

If not, Tanks INC intank pump/slump setup might work.

Rock Valley does not show any Impala stuff on their site, but I am sure they could build a tank. Our customer wanted to keep the stock tank look though.

I installed an efi tank from a newer impala into my 1965 imp. the floor needs to be clearenced for the lines coming out of the top of the tank, but other than that it is a good fit, plus it retains the fill behind the plate!

How about using the stock impala tank and putting in a late model 4th gen fuel pump assembly in? It has a venturi system so you wouldn`t need to sump the tank. Just cut a hole, bolt it in and put the tank back up. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/716267/3

TanksInc.com has a new tank for 65-66 Chevy. Could not tell from the page if they had an EFI pump set up for it. It would be worth a call to them.

Definitely an option. Our guy had already had a little work doen to his tank with an external electric pump and braided lines. For us, sumping was the best option. These things always have to be approached individually.

Rock Valley does sell an EFI cylindrical baffle setup with a pump that can be dropped into a tank provided the tank is deep enough. We used it on our Super Sleeper Nova.

I wouldn't use Rick's Tanks

What a total fiasco! I did not receive any response from the e-mail nor did the Installer when he sent a blistering message noting all of the time he had with the tank.
