Which ones can be connected to one fuse?
Hey guys
The fuse box I want to use has 8 fuses and the information here (on this site) recommends 11 fuses.
So Im wondering if any of these can be married to each other and then go to single fuse.
C100- A - (odd fuel injectors): 15 amp fuse
C100 G (engine control power): 15 amp fuse
C101 B (even fuel injectors): 15 amp fuse
C101 E (computer power: 15amp fuse
C101 G (constant power): 10 amp fuse
C105 B (engine sensor power): 20 amp fuse
Fuel pump: 20 amp fuse
Acc 1 (goes to DLC): 20 amp fuse
Fan 1: 20 amp fuse
Fan 2: 20 amp fuse
Acc 2 (looks like it goes to fan relay #3): 10amp fuse
Any recommendations on the best way to turn 11 into 8 fuses or is it best to get another fuse box?
Thanks

not sure of what year you have but this info is in the stickys under LS1 Swap FAQ. https://ls1tech.com/forums/attachmen...chmentid=73260
I have a 1998 and I am using an 8 fuse, fuse box. actually they are two 4's that I attached together. although, I do have an inline fuse for the fuel pump which makes a total of 9 fuses for the 1998 fuses.

You could combine the accy 1, 2, and C101 G (constant power) fuses, start out by keeping the 10A fuse (the DLC port, and pull in circuit for the fan relays draw very little current. You could also combine the C100- A - (odd fuel injectors): 15 amp fuse and C100 G (engine control power): 15 amp fuse.
If you do it this way everything will function properly, but I prefer to keep separate fuses for everything like GM did. The reason I prefer separate fuses is for reliability if you have problems, if you have a problem where 1 of your injectors shorts out and it is wired with 2 fuses, it will only take out half your cylinders and you can limp home. If you wire them all to the same fuse....call the tow truck. Same basic idea with the C101 G fuse and accy 1 and 2, the C101G fuse provides power to the computer, if you have a problem with this circuit and it uses the same fuse as the DLC circuit you will be unable to plug in a code reader since the DLC will also have no power.

actually that was my drawing...and I chose to keep it all seperate fuses for the exact reason G-Body stated.....if one goes...they wont all go. I can track down a problem if needed and then find a way to fix it. Its just easier and not much more work than wiring them into one fuse.
