Default 3 wire maf to 5 wire maf conversion diagram?

I am trying to muse an 05 GTO maf with my 98 wiring harness. Does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram? I tried search, but couldn't find any matches.

Thanks,

Gary

Well I don`t have a GTO diagram but the truck 5 wire MAF is probably the same.

I don`t have a 98 f-body either but I think the 99 is the same.

The difference between the 5 wire and wire sensors is that the 5 wire combines the MAF and IAT sensors. Hope these help.

EDIT:I just realized the diagrams aren`t labeled clearly, you have to really look, but the first one is for the 5 wire MAF and the second one is for the 3 wire MAF.

Ok, I figured out the maf portion, but the IAT, I only see one wire labeled in the second diagram. Could you look and see which wire has the 5 volts and which one is ground? I don't know if you can swap them around on the sensor.

On the second diagram the PPL wire is the ground for the IAT. The TAN has +5V.

The diagrams don't really show me the order on the plug itself.

The Pigtail I have has all white wires. I know the 3 closest to the MAF Sensor are the 3 I want but don't know the order same with the two furthest away. IE should it be starting at sensor and headed away.

Pink Blk Ylw Tan PPL ? It is the plug end I am trying to figure out since they so nicely placed all white wires in the replacement pig tail.

. The only thing I could think of would be to check a factory plug on a factory harness. I will check mine when I get a chance, but at the earliest I would be able to post back tomorrow night, possibly not until thursday night.

I have included plug and pin diagrams for the IAT and 3 wire MAF as well as the 5 wire MAF. The first are from an 04 GTO and the 5 wire MAF is from a truck. Hope it helps.

Casper makes an adapter that will work for you. Summit carries them.
