ya, there are acouple 2nd gens on here. I am just starting mine on my 79 Z. So far all I have is a stock LQ4. The shopping list is huge. Right now I am concentrating on finding a decent T56.

i have worked with al the ls engines when i worked for gm. maybe between you guys and soem guys at nastyz28.com we could compile a sticky for a swap. my biggest concern is i dont want a t56 i want to keep my m-21.
im sure ill need to either custom an oil pan and a few things. no a/c here either.

The car you are talking about in super chevy is mine if u look up 79camarols1 in hear u can find some things i have posted or go to cardomain.com look up car 230958. i did not modify the pan i used tranz dap motor mounts and the stock tranz mount. the headers are pace setter just cut and notched the collector.

I'll be needing some advice soon too.
Currently my engine (2003 6.0L) is in the machine shop, getting cleaned up. When it returns, it will get carb'd and I am going to drop it in my '73 Camaro.

the Camaro that was in super Chevy is owned by Jeff at Clasic Chevy 5 speed. He used our engine mounts and trans corssmember for his install.
