Default My 240sx V8 swap (dry sump content!)...

I've been swapping a small block Chevy v8 engine into a s14 Nissan 240sx chassis, and after forgetting about the project completely for 4 months it's finished:

It's powered by a high compression 4-bolt small block with a 4 stage dry sump system off of a nascar. The dry sump system (for those of you who've never seen one) pumps sucks all the oil out of the pan, pumps it to a oil tank in the trunk, sucks it back out of the trunk to a giant external filter and back into the engine...

And it has a lot of other goodies like the racepak gauge cluster:

Questions? Comments? It's no LS1 but even with an iron block and heads it's only about about 75lbs over stock. The car will be for sale as of tommorow, stay tuned...

Looks like you are going to kill that exhaust pretty quickly. You might want to raise it up a bit if possible.

It's awesome! I'll definately be buying another one for my next swap, I just wish they were cheaper!

It's actually not that bad, it looks worse than it is. The front bumper actually scrapes 10x more often...

That's sick dude How many people have you freaked out with that thing? I love the satin finish (but please tell me that's not dirt in the paint...)

I've been wanting to take it to a meet with a bunch of ricers and try to tell them that it's bone stock and that I'm just going for "aero mods". There's dirt on the paint not in it...
