Default ls1/t56 mating question

So I changed direction on my project. Was going to stick a 350 and ls1 t56 in my 69 camaro. Now I've got a deal on a LS1 and am going with that. However, I have all the stuff needed to mate up the t56 to the SBC using a manual clutch linkage. So question is: should I sell off the conversion stuff and just use hydraulics (I do have the stock bellhousing and a Zoom 26 spline clutch but don't know if this clutch will work or not), or can I use my adapter kit that I've made up?

Thanks alot, this conversion should be interesting,
David

I would sell the conversion parts, if I were in your position, but the choice is up to you. You can get some of your money back, by doing that, and use it for other parts.

+3 on the selling off of the parts.... It will not be hard to convert to Hydraulics on your 69.. only need to get the adapter/mount and mod the clutch pedal pivod location.

You can make your own plate (as I have) or just buy one from ATS or S&P. You can see it on there web sites.

That is for a Big Block Chevy, it many not line up correctly.. might be able to mod it or use its design on making your own.
