Default my 240sx/ls1 swap PICS

I got the car in January and have been acquiring parts ever since. Almost there I'm hoping to have the car running by mid July summer classes is killing me and my time.

I pretty much stayed pretty close to my budget sold my 97 gsr and built this whole car for the same price. including the price of the car. 15.5s(GSR) vs. low 12's(ls1/240) only things i didn't expect were a new clutch combo and i bought a Hobart welder to do all the custom work i need to do.

Got my driveshaft in today from driveshaftshop.com although they sent me an alum one instead of a steel one. Not bad besides I'm getting charged for an alum one I'll have to figure that out tomorrow.
waiting to get my welder in to do exhaust and mount my radiator.
I'm using c5 manifolds for now to get it going then I'm going to get a weld your own ls1 header kit found one for 175$ with flanges and collectors.
and i haven't even started on wiring yet.

Can't wait to drive this beast.
pics:

Motor Mount using the factory rubber mount filled with urethane.

Hood closed first try with no cutting involved.

That's a Pro 5.0 shifter. I guess depending on how big it actually feels though it might get modified some.

I'm still confident that the way this motor is mounted is the best solution for a street car I've seen. If only we had the tools to make something pretty haha

i like the plate you got to move the stock mount further back. wish i would have done that. would have saved me some welding. stock mount packed with anything works great. you will like it.

room... I wish I could have gotten it a little further back inch or 2. so i wouldn't have had to cut the shifter hole... o well. i think the subframe has enough clearance. just the tranny tunnel needs to be beat out a lot more. my drive shaft length was 46 3/8" so i'm not sure how that compares with other s14s i believe most of the s13s are in the 41-42 inch range.

gotta have the long shaft, more leverage to shift through all that torque. ;-)

anyone know any good coilovers forsale?
kaaz cusco or tomie for LSD?
those are the next 2 items to purchase

quick question what is the little thing next to the fuel rail that has a hose that attaches to the throttle body and then has a line off it to the fuel line? part of EGR or what? i was going to finish up my fuel system tonight but I'm not sure what i should do with that extra line next to the fuel line. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

any of the big name diff's youll probably love. i have a kaaz 1.5 in my car and love it. im thinking of selling and going with an ATS tho. Nismo has the best street manners, but isnt as agressive.

as for coilovers, ive never heard of poweredbymax, but i know for a cheap entry level the ksports are great. they are local to phoenix (importer is) and have been awesome for our local drvers. great deals, sponsor events, etc. really good guys.

questions.....

This i believe is the alt. wire for the og KA i dont really remember.. should i just remove this? then just hook up the 2 power wires off of that fuse box to the ls1 power line?

what exactly is this? part of EGR? i know it's something to do with fuel obviously. should it connect to this?

any help would be greatly appreciated!

pic #1. i hooked it to the battery and used it as a place to get power from. if i remember right you dont need it. just hook up the 2 white/red wires going to the fuse box and everything (except the wipers) will work.
pic #3. return to the tank.
