looking for shops that do LS swaps Hi all,
Im new to the LS1tech site, ive been a member of thirdgen.org for some time and thought I would expand my search for knowledge here on the boards.
As the title states, looking for any shops in the California or Texas that does LSx/1 swaps, I have a 91 Camaro convertible 305TBI that needs new life and I just dont have the time or tools where im working to do the swap myself. the shop would have to supply the engine/trans out of a wrecked car and install it. If anyone could help me or knows of someone who experienced and would like to make an extra couple bux please let me know. thanx all.

I think there is a shop in the San Francisco Bay Area, In the Newark area that does them, Synergy Motorsports. Are you NoCal or SoCal ? Not sure if they are a sponser or not on this site. you can find them in the Yellow pages or they have a web site.

there are several from state to state. since you are a thirdgen.org member do a search. I know there is one in texas who was recomended for good work on one of the ls1 threads. yes i have seen the swaps done out the door for 10k or more. I belive hawks out east does them as well
