6.0 4l80e in a '94 rcsb 1500 need info
i just bought a totaled '05 2500 hd with a 6.0 4l80 with 50k miles complete. so now i am thinking of a little wake me up in my daily driver ('94 RCSB 1500)..so i need a little info/help on this particular swap..
Questions: since i have the whole truck complete (donor) do i still need to get an aftermarket harness to work w/my truck.. long shot but im just asking.. and since i prob. will have to buy a wiring harness can i get one made for a "cable" throttle body? to do away of the fly- by-wire.. and what about motor mounts? .. oh and one more thing headers, LT's of course.. thanks

Go to Street and Performance's website, hotrodlane.cc I think, they have a big write up on a 6.0 install in a older Tahoe, its pretty straight forward. You can use your harness and adapt it to cable TB. You have to add connectors for IAC and TPS, I'm doing it to my 03 LQ4. If your not comfortable with wiring Speartech can do the whole stand alone harness and TB adaption.
