I need some help wiring up my alt. I have a 98 wiring harness from painless, but it has no wires for the alternator. What other way can i do it to keep my battery charging?

If you don't want to run a new wire from the pcm to the alternator, then you will need to run a wire from a switched 12 volt source, through a 470ohm, 1/2 watt, resistor to pin B on the alternator. That will make the alternator turn on. DO NOT leave out the resistor, if you do it this way. If you leave it out, the alternator will be running on borrowed time.
