Default L92?

I'm thinking about getting a complete L92 crate motor for my 59 Apache and swapping the intake for a carb. My question is:

What kind of power could I get out of just a cam & what cam?

Do some reading and research in the Gen IV Internal Engine forum, tons of info there. The L92 is basically the same thing as the LS3, with a different intake manifold. I'm not sure they make a carb style intake for those yet, as the intake ports are different shaped from the typical LS1/LS2/LS6 ports.

Yes they do make a carb style intake for the L92 heads, there is an article about it in this months Hot Rod magazine. The intake is made my GMPP and is listed(by hot rod) at 299.50 through Scoggin-Dickey. The setup they used made 535hp@6900 and 449lb-ft@5500, both being at the flywheel.
