LS1 swap in suburban???anyone done it? like the title say the engine is out of a 99 corvette and the suburban is a 98 anyone know will the stock 2wd tranny and wiring work I think whats in their is a vortec 5.7L...let me know any info im a newb...on this ls1 swap forum...

LS1 Burb Yes, the tranny will work. Use the wire harness that comes with the 99 vette engine. Send the harness/computer out to be modified & retuned. All the info is on this site for your swap, if you do the research. Mostly already performed on same year(s) as yours, only in the truck versions, which everything applies the same as your burb. Good luck with the conversion.
