Default help with a plug

I dont know where this one is supposed to go, its a 3 pin plug...anyone recognize it? Harness is originally from 2003 silverado ss.

not familure with that harness, but where is located? by the starer? you don't have a plug in your oil level sensor is that it?

it is by the starter, im not using that sensor, its broken off inside and plug hole is siliconed, but it looks like that sensor was a 2 pin plug, this one is three..

in an f-body harness there is a round three pin plug coming out at about that spot, its for A/C. Are you using A/C? or have you eliminated that?

According to the maual, if it has the following wires its the cran sensor.
The picture of the conector looks like the connector you have on here.

Dark Blue/White
Yellow/Black
Light Green

thanks guys, i didnt see a sensor down there, but i'll look around again, and i will check the wire colors when I get home tonight... Will keep you posted.

It's in behind the starter and a pain in the *** to get to. Just take the starter loose and save yourself a lot of time.

thanks a lot guys, you are right and it was for the crank sensor, and its a PITA to get to with the starter in place. I spend 20 mins pushing it in gently with a long wrench, couldt fit my hand between block and starter. Im now one step closter to starting up
