5.3L with a 4l60E S10 V8 swap. Hello, I was going to build a V8 S10 but I'm now going to put a 2007 6.2L with the 6 speed transmission in a 2007 Silverado reg cab short bed, so I am selling my parts from my S10 swap. I have them listed on Ebay if any one is intrested.

I am still looking for the 2WD 6.2L with the 6 speed transmission, I have only found the 4WD. Please let me know if anyone knows where else I can look. Thanks

Does anyone know if you swap the 6.2L engine that comes in the 2007 Escalade with the VVT system, does the VVT work by the ECM or is it something mechanical? This is the only thing that gots me worried about doing this swap into a 2007 new body style 4.8L automatic Silverado with no VVT system.
