Default Top covers not working out.

My top covers are not working. 98 LS1 from a camaro with a single fuel line. Part # 12561503 & 12561502 covers. They are not lining up. Are they the wrong ones? I know the camaro didnt come with top plates but it looks like all the hardware is there. Did I order the wrong ones or is there something I am not seeing??

Default Fuel rail covers

I believe the coil pack mounts changed from '98 to '99 and this is why they aren't lining up correctly.

probably need to change out the valve covers and then get the newer coil pack brackets. I would look for fuel rail covers specifically made for 98's. Most likly only available in the aftermarket.

I dont think I will have to do all that (at least I hope). I am thinking 97/98 corvette covers will work and I will have 1 empty hole b/c the vette had a dual fuel line setup and I have a single. Will this work? Is there a way to NOT have the extra hole?
