64 Chevelle rear frame notch/narrow ?

unfort. a 64-65 prob has the smallest area for tires-a friend of mine had 315's under his, they sliced the rear frame and opened up the wheel wells, esp. back in the inner rear corners (problem area for most chevelles with larger dia. tire) we also "swelled" the outer wheel well a little
theres not much frame in that area to begin with, so you end up having to gusset the area-if your running a part. class, you would have to ck their rules-i have installed a few s & w rear frame sections, if you wanted to tub it, their pretty simple to install, always liked the tubbed look of 64-65's, but my guess is you dont want to do that-i take plain paper, lay it out under the car, and take a plumb bob and lay out the whole wheel well area on paper, then look in jegs cat (they have listings for tire bulge and tread width) and see how something would fit-always someone with a tire i can borrow to try anyway, then allow for body roll, etc-too much coffee this morn-lol

I know this is kinda Old But e-mail me I have a two inch mini tub on my 65 I am able to fit 315 under and posiably 335 with a little fender massage. Also Know another guy that did it as well.
