http://www.racingjunk.com/post/10008...CLONE-amp.html

I almost bought a project car like this back in 1993.

Man if i bought something like that and stuffed an LS1 in it it would really bug just about everybody I think.

I'm a chevy guy through and through... but one of my current projects is an LS1 powered '69 Mustang. A friend of mine has wanted one since the first time he rode in my '02 Camaro.
It was a little weird at first, but it's also a nice change of pace from my personal projects. I say go for it! There will always be others that do appreciate it for what it is.

If you're really that worried about it, throw a set of SVO 42# injectors in it for arguments sake

Ahhh... Looks like we'll be dumping an LS1/4L60 into a buddies '62 T-Bird, as well. Already cut the roof off of it, so what the hell. We'll park together at shows and fight off the hordes of PO'd Ford and Pontiac guys together.

LOL!

Who could get pissed off? Shelby shoved a ford engine into a british car in the first place. That wasn't original either! A good looking car and a reliable engine with (if stock) good gas mileage.

Eh, it's more than a bastard swap. Do some research on this car and you will understand. A ultra-rare, ulra-fast (for it's time) factory built race car that is worth some big dough. It would cross the line because it's a piece of automotive history. In fact, I'm going to church to ask for forgiveness because I read this thread.

ill just find the 32 ford out of american graffiti, and one of the original general lee's, and proceed to install 20b 3 rotor engines in all of them, with titanium straightpipes exiting out the center of the bumper, and sticking out about 1' behind the rear bumper.
