Sorry but the cheap and best fit and good set doesnt usually all belong together. Especially when plates and motor swaps are involved. Usually requires a custom set. Healthy kit and 421", I'd probably start with 2".

cool, i have a set of 1 7/8 grotyhanns that cme off of the camaro but not sure if they will work or not being that i won't have motor mounts in the way.
and i know those don't belong in the same sentence, but i am just not looking to spend $1200 on a set. i know i am gonna have to fork out the cash, and where would i begin to look for 2"

yea, he builds custom tube chassis race cars. he is in mendenhall. he has built two sets for my father in law at about $1000 per set. his car won 1st at the race ar extraganza and runs 5.10 in the 1/8th. Will can tell you about it.
anyway Hank would be the best bet and he is in the right price range.
