Default Shifter options

Anyone have any idea or info on alternate shifters, aside from the standard B&M, Hurst quarter or quick shifts for the 4L60e. I really don't want to go with those, they just look to common/cheesy. Looking for something that will look a little more at home in my 66 nova with all stock interior.

use the stock 66 nova shifter and modify it? I don't know what the 66 Nova shifter looks like but people modify 1st gen f-body horseshoe shifters to work 3-speed and 4-speed auto all the time--a new detent plate bolted along side the original (slightly higher) I think, a bracket at the tranny, and for TH350 at least, a new lever for the tranny.
