Whatever you do, stay away from the AJE th350/400/etc trans cross-member if you intend on making any power. The whole design sucks...Mounts solidly to the trans, has rubber bushings on the body side. Doesn't allow enough flex. Plus the part that bolts to the trans is cheesy and has some crappy welds...It'll break in time. My buddy had one and the weld split...It allowed the whole trans to try and rotate, and ripped the bellhousing in two.
