Default Bolt On LS conversion for the 1955-1957 Chevy with the LH8 GM oil pan

This is the latest in R&D from BRP; The LS conversion kit is built around the new Aluminum GM LH8 oil pan. Our engineers have put together a true bolt on conversion kit for the 1955-1957 Chevy with the factory seamless or seamed frame.. Our new kits clear without modification using the stock steering & center link which lets you use the stock factory rear steering set-up. The oil pan sits 2”in. from the center link with the wheels straight. These kit even fits the bulky T-56 6-speed without having to cut or stretch your trans tunnel while maintaining the GM recommended 3-5 degrees of pinion angle drop. A little flushing of the lip on the trans tunnel with and takes a few minute with a hammer as shown. The only minor modification is a optional notch for the A/C compressor (a small Notch on k-member) all other accessories from the 4th Gen F-Body stay in the stock location. What this means is, with this NEW BRP kit, you can literally bolt in any LS engine from the 5.3 to the LSX like a traditional small block engine. The slightly modified LH8 Aluminum oil pan is required for this conversion kit, which comes pre modified due to the location of the center link. The oil pan kit comes with the deflector/windage tray, hardware, gasket, oil pick-up tube, new GM LH8 oil pan, BRP motor mounts, new BRP frame brackets & Trans mount and 4L60E-65E or T-56 manual cross member. All motor mounts include a 5 year 50,000 mile no questions asked warranty.
