Default Custom wiring harness

Does any sponsor make A application specific harness? Example i Have a 95 z28, I want to do a ls2 upgrade . I know im going to need a ls1 crossmember,
harness, and pcm i have all that. The engine is on its way ..
I'd like a ls1 harness modified for an ls2 and modified to connect to the 95 internals ......

Next Will i need the relay harness from a ls1 as well?

x58 or x24? DBW? GM has stand alone harness kits for the new x58 motors.

I've had a tuner look at mine and he said can tune it like any other e67 so that is still up for debate. But $815 for a fully labelled harness with the power distribution block including fan relays/fuel pump relays/MIL, ECM, DBW pedal, O2 sensors/bungs, and 100mm MAF/IAT is an awsome deal?
The next closest in price was over $1500 and it didn't come with the O2's and MAF.

There is another thread talking about the fact that the new GM harness is not tunable (it comes with its own computer and will not use your old one). You can pick up a used harness and computer pretty cheap, and modify it to work. Also, if you are basing your swap on a used motor, you generally can get the original harness and computer.

Some people say that the ECM that comes in the GM kit is not progamable. Some say it is, some say it isn't. Worst case I've been told is that the ECM can be wiped clean. That was on the HPTuners forum by the adminstraitor. Or you can go buy a used ECM from any number of vehicles for a few hundred dollars. You can go price a harness DBW pedal, MAF, and O2's. it adds up quick.

Are we both talking about the "19166568 Controller and Wiring Harness, LS2" found on page 298 of the GMPP catalog? If so, it says right there, NOT PROGRAMMABLE. If you are talking about another part number, please let us know about it!

The speculation is that GM means "not programmable" in the sense that a stock PCM is not programmable and that they can be reflashed via EFI Live, HP tuners, etc.

Someone needs to get their hands on one and find out once and for all.

Exactly. In other words you cannot tune it unless you have tuning software. It doesn't come with any. I have the LS2 kit and I took the ecm to a tuner where I was told it's just a plain old e67 with VATS and the other stuff disabled.... Of course my car is a few weeks from running so I still have to see if he is in fact correct.
