Default Getting motor/tranny tomorrow - Check list?

I want to make sure they include everything they said they would and everything I need. I'm trying to make a check list to make sure I get everything I need or should get.

So far, this is my list:

2002 4.8L Engine/4L60E tranny
ECM
Complete harness
Drive by wire throttle pedal/controller/harness
MAF sensor
Fuse/relay block
EFI Pump (going to give it to me, may or may not use it).

Anything else I should get while I'm there?

Thanks!

What is this going into ?

All of the front accessories, exhaust manifold if your going to use them.

If you need the Smog equipement, then the EGR and AIR pump set up if they are there. Engine Mounts, Drive shaft

ECM mount.

I'm putting it into a 79 Malibu. Engine is complete with accessories. I bought TransDapt engine mount adapter (similar to S&P). I plan on getting stock F-body exhaust manifolds. I will probably run the smog equipment, haven't decided yet. I'd like to keep it as simple as possible. I'm hoping the truck accessories and pan will fit, I'll just have to mock it up and see. At this point I'm just wanting to make sure I'm not forgetting something that I should get when buying the "drop-in" motor/trans.

I would accept anything they are wanting to give me. Those little things are killers.

You got that right, that's why I'm trying to get it all now. They seem to be pretty accomodating so far. I'm afraid they might want to charge for any "extras" if I go back.

You may want to look at the radiator for your conversion. I used the Camaro radiator in my 66 and it fits well.

grab the 02 sensors, those are expensive new.

The fuel lines if you can get them....the quick disconnects are easy to use

the throttle cable

radiator hoses

I saw the post on malibu racing. The tahoe fuel pump should work, there are 2 styles. One has a single inlet and will work, the other has dual inlets and I don`t know if it will fit. You will have to take the fuel pump out of that bucket/sender assembly. Both fuel pumps will probably have 2 outputs, on that goes to the 3/8" fuel line and a smaller 1/8" line that goes to the venturi system in the bucket. You can use a compression fitting on that line and then drill a 1/16" hole in a cap and put it on that line.
