4L80E in a fox body
I was just curious if anyone has ran a 4l80E behind an ls series motor in a mustang, I wanna do an LS swap in a fox body but i wanna make sure the
4L80E is gonna fit before i go out and purchase the tranny. I would like to know what cross member you ran, and if there was any floor pan modifications. Thanks for the help

I have one mocked up in my car, but the head almost touches the fire wall and the motor is very low. I have not touched the trans tunnel anywhere. I plan on making a crossmember that ties into the subframe connectors, right now (for mock up) I just flipped the stock one and moved it back.

I have no experience with the 80e but I know my th400 fits like a glove... its a little tight to the tunnel on the drivers side but nothing too bad.I currently am running a home built trans crossmember that I have tied in to the subframes, but I may change it up for something a little more sturdy now with the addition of a trans brake.
