The 2001 5.3l wiring diagrams are the same except for a couple wires on the transmission (the 80e 6.0 has a secondary speed sensor)

Depends on the year of the 80..1999 up had only one Speed Sensor, the other one was on the rear Diff.

I sold an 2006 4l80 2wd and if had two speed sensors in it.

The 4wd units have the back VSS installed in the transfer case output and a block off plate on the trans.

I'm just wondering if the pinouts for a 04 3500 would be the same for a 04 2500. They probably are since the only thing different is the chassis on the trucks.

I dont know where to ask so I will try here. I have a 96 T/A and Im going to be doing a 5.3 a4 swap into it. I found a harness and a4 pcm out of a 98 z28 for $200 would this help me with the swap or should I pass on it? I dont have the engine or tranny yet so I dont know the years of either one. Just trying to collect the hard to find parts first.

pass on the 98 PCM - you want the 411PCM. look in the conversion section of the forum, there is a guide.

Interesting. I search the last few days trying to find pinouts using the term "pinouts" and somehow never came accross this thread. Got here from a link from another forum.

Anyway, I am doing a 2008 LS3 with an aftermarket ECU and need a couple pinouts.

can anyone tell me if the link to the 2000 camaro pdf will work if i have a motor set from a 2000 trans am?

I tried asking on here but was told to "search" well i had already searched and half the links where "dead" and only found 2001 transam, and mine is diff, especially since i have a diff intake with sensors etc. this is the only thread i could find with some kinda of schematics links. I just want to make sure im looking at the right pinout before i start cleaning up my harness for my swap. I also had already checked faq and there is no pinout sticky... there should be.
