Default Blue/Green PCM and DBC

I received my drive train but didn't get exactly what I ordered. Before I phone the vendor I wanted to get some feedback to see if I really have an issue.

What I ordered:
LQ4, accessories, harness, PCM, pedal, TAC from 2004 Silverado 4x2
4L80e from 2008 Express 4x2

What I got:
LQ4 from 2004 Sierra 4x4
Drive by cable throttle body installed
Harness (blue/green) for DBC
PCM service PN 12602801 (blue/green)
4L80e from 2007 Express

The harness is installed and as far as I can tell it is a Blue/Green DBC.

1) I've found one thread that indicates that vans could go DBW or DBC with the blue/green PCM. Is that correct?
2) What application is the PCM

Assuming I have a PCM/harness that does work with DBC:
3) Did I lose HP/TQ with the factory program?
4) Do vendors support the PCM (blue/green with DBC)?
5) Did I lose cruise control?
6) Any other issues/advantages to this setup?

Thanks for the help.

1) Yes, the vans came both ways. Another vehicle that used the DBC system and a Blue/Green computer is the '04 GTO/
2) Not sure on that one, might call a local dealership and have them run the p/n to see what vehicles it lists for. Most likely, all trucks & Vans from '04-'05

3) The Torque management in the computer will kill some power, you are going to have to reprogram for the VATS anyway, may as well have the programmer drop the TM and up the power while your at it.
4) Absolutely
5) Yes (technically). You will need a separate C/C setup with a cable to run the TB.
6) Nothing really, just that you don't have to source the pedal to run the electronic setup. Also, sometimes the Electronic throttle stuff can be kind of finicky.

If you stay with the DBC setup you'll want to make sure the PCM is the one that was with the harness. A lot of the blue/green PCM's do not have the IAC drive chip in them so you end up with no idle control. There are so many part numbers for blue/green PCM's I don't know for sure which ones have it and which ones don't.

The cruise control would have been nice and easy with the DBW but there are plenty of ways to do it with DBC.

Thanks for the help.

I phoned the vendor who stated the accessories, intake, harness, and PCM would have been from a 2005-2007 4.8L van. He couldn't tell me if the donor had IAC or if they had the cruise control bits. He volunteered to send a DBW truck intake, PCM, harness, pedal, and TAC. Now that's service!
