03 5.3 engine to 01 4l60e?

I have an '01 4L60E from a truck and am looking at purchasing a '03 5.3L truck engine with wiring harness. Will the two bolt together and will the '03 wiring harness plug into the '01 tranny and work correctly? Thanks, Jeff

The same trans is used from 99-04+ Somewhere in there they went to a 4l65E which is an OEM beefed up 4L60E.
