Default Where to get headers for 67 A body?

Is there anybody/company selling headers that will fit my 67 GTO with this LS1. I would hate to use the factory manifolds but did not find anything when I searched this forum. Thanx for the help.

Edelbrock makes a swap kit consisting of motormounts, Longtube stepped stainless headers and a full length exhaust system with x pipe... looks awesome and can be ordered thru summit....

Looks like that is for 68 and up. I know there are small diferences in the two years.

Im sure you could make the 68+up headers work for you, you might have to modify a primary tube or two but it shouldnt be that drastic if a change between years.

Careful on the Edelbrock headers.I understand they have finally started shipping the 68-up headers.I think you can look for a thread hereon LS1Tech titled," Edelbrock A-Body Headers".

I used Doug's Headers,Jegs has them on their site,Summit had to Special order them.Hooker makes a kit too.I went with Dougs because my price on the Long tube ceramic coated headers with motor mount adapters, was the same price as the Hookers in painted finish.Keep an eye on my thread(65 Chevelle...updated with pics.I'll have pictures of the Doug's Headers the next few days.

I have the hookers on my 67 chevelle and they fit fine. They do hit the column shift tranny linkage and are fairly close to the floorboards (which means they aren't gonna scrape, but other than that they are great. However, for the money, the edelbrocks which weren't available when I bought mine seem to be the best deal going. Should make the most power since they are stepped as well.
