Default 5.3/6.0L into a 1994 Trans Am.

I currently own a 1994 Trans am with 28K miles on it that is in REALLY good condition, it has a PBA built 4L60E w/converter, but the motor is basically stock minus the bolt ons w/ a shot of N20.

Now, I am in a debate. I want to do something crazy with my TA, but do to anything more, I would need to rebuild my motor to handle the power.

Now, I know there are a good amount of 5.3's and 6.0 L with stock bottom ends running 600+ hp w/turbos, which is what I am shooting for.

Here is the twist. I have a 1994 blazer 4x4 that I use for hunting/fishing, that this past week had it's 217K mile 4.3 bite the dust. I am debating swapping the LT1 (w/ maybe a small cam in it) into the blazer, which would be a lot of fun, and pretty easy because there is a lot of info out there.

What all would I need to do to swap a LS series engine into my TA? Has anyone done it? 5.3's and 6.0L's are getting cheaper than Lt1's.

That would be an awesome blazer.

It would be a lot of fun, I think it would even get better mpg too, 4.3's are pretty crappy.

I just bought a 5.3 truck engine with 14k on it that Im going to be putting into my 96 camaro. Im gonna try to use as much of the truck stuff as possible. Gonna try to keep the stock lt1 k member re drilled for ls1 mountes.
Here are my plans
5.3 truck engine
flipped mannys with t70 turbo
96 4L60e with adapter to run coverter in it.
Pry ls1 intake manny with vette rail
EMS PRO to control fi and trans.

Still wondering if the accessory setup will work stock under the lt1 hood.
