John...Nice Installation...Questions: Where did you get the MAF air intake snorkel? Just the 90 degree tube I mean. Also, what brand are the fuel injection rails? Thanks, Gar

The intake tube is a lt1 lLE tube. The radiator and fans are out of a 2002 Z28.

The mounts that attach to the frame, I bought from John B. With the help for Dan at speed Inc, we made the poly mounts that bolt to the motor. We used the stock motor mount clamshells and modified energy suspension LT1 mounts. Welded the calmshells back to gether. The cooling system is weird. If I'm driving the temps are around 165-180. If I'm idleing the temps will keep climbing. When I'm sitting still I can raise the engine speed to about 2,000 rpm the coolant temp will drop. I think I might have a sticking thermostat.

You shouldn't have any problems changing the valve springs on that thing. The engine bay is HUGE. Nice Job

Anything special to the engine, I'm just wondering because of the fuel rails on it.

The motor is a stock bottom end, heads and cam. Speed Inc fuel rails. Heards are MAC mid lengths for an f body. Passanger side just needs a couple of tubs dented. Drivers side we had to cut the tubes and bend them. We then welded them back together. Speed Inc. modified the header.

Hey charles, you said you use the LT1 1LE bellows?? did you have to modify it any??
they lt1s used the oval TB compared to the round TB of the LS1, i was thinking of using the same bellows for my swap, but wasnt sure if it would fit right.

I intake tuge on an LT1 will fit an ls1 throttle body with any problems. When the tube is clamped it fits the throttle body perfect. I have a track video of the car. I'll try and find if. The car is apart right now getting all the body/paint work done. SOM is the color of choice.
