3.8 to LS1...whats involved? My dad just picked up a 98 3.8 v6 Camaro for cheap, and he also has a complete 98 ls1 sitting in the garage. What all is involved with the switch? is there different brackets? different wiring harness? different CPU?
does anyone have a writeup or tutorial??

Make sure it has a limited slip only some had the G80 code. Transmission needs to be brought over from an LS1 as well. They are both a 4L60E - but the bellhousing is different. Motor mounts, ECU harness. V6's only have a 120 mph speedo too lol. There is probably a writeup somewhere around here. Did you do a search?
