LS1 Swap into Blue SN95. Build thread.
Well I figured I might as well go ahead and make a thread.
Plan is an LS1/4l60e into a 95 v6 body (no power anything, light hopefully).
Here is how it looked about 10 days ago when i got the car.
Then about a week later...
A bunch of wires to remove...
Beginning to tear out the suspension/kmember
Crossmember and everything out. all unnecessary wires removed. Time for paint soon.
Next installment will be after paint. And then installation of AJE k-member, s-arms, coilovers etc.

Well the car has been sitting waiting on parts for weeks now. I finally got my motor/tranny. AJE says my k-member etc will be here Friday, we will see I guess, its been 6 weeks.
I think I got ripped off on a convertor: https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sale/906422-tsp-giant-cam-tci-street-fighter.html
I wanted to have the convertor installed before putting the motor/tranny in the car, but looks like a d-bag ruined that.
So in the last 3 weeks all Ive gotten done is swapping the fuel pump, and about 75% of the wiring of the custome guages.

Also have a slight problem. My front tires are Toe'd WAY out in the front. One can be straight while the other is almost all the way turned.
Do I need shorter tie rod ends with the AJE K-member/a-arms???
Also I will be doing a manual rack in the near future from flaming river. Recommendations on what to get?

aje was a lil slow on my end as well. i hear this all the time.
i dont know exact times, but id say 3-4 weeks to get a coilover kit from them.
called day after day and all i heard was "we are getting the parts together so we can ship it out"
if you bought a new rack, id see an issue with the toe, but being you just bolted your old parts back up, thats kinda odd.
you can play with a strait edge on each tire with 2 people and a tape measure to set the toe yourself.
3-4 ft strait edge on each side. measure front, measure back. the difference in measure is toe in or toe out.
its pretty simple if you can read a tape measure.
dont count out something could be off on the K member. id hope its not, but dont go chasing other problems till you rule the new parts out.
looking good!
