Default Progress Pictures

I finally got the entire car painted and was able to put the engine in yesterday. The wheels are just rollers The engine is a 2002 LS1 that I retro fitted 243 (LS6) heads on and an aftermarket cam.

I just bought a set of Corvette fuel rail covers and filled the Corvette logo in and painted them the same as the car.

Specialized Stainless is a nice place too. You can use the standard fuel rail covers and buy their polished strips for $30 or so to cover up the corvette letters. You can get the strips etched to say anything you want for a little more. I see LS1 Nova strips in my future!!

Here's some more pictures.......

Basically it's a 2002 Corvette LS6 engine with a Futral F13 and a T-56. I'm running the Stainless Works headers with knock off S&P mounts. The headers are worth every penny. They fit great. I'm running 315/35r17's in the back and 275/40r17's in the front. I also have the S&P mount for the A/C compressor. That also works great as it tucks that compressor nice and snug up against the block.

It's a 2005-2006 Corvette color called LeMans blue or PPG calls it Luxo blue.
