Talking Finally made it to track

Finally got to find out what it would do legally lol
Just got back from track. First time every to race on track. 1st run 12.80/110, 2nd 12.88/109.8, 3rd 13.13/109.8. Not bad for a full size 86 Monte SS dailey driver. Street tires hurt me. BFG Radials 15". Got a real bad lag btwn 2 & 3 shifts. And Stock Convertor.
Any how wheeeeeee !!!!!! Had a blast.

Cool, that's good to hear... Stuff like this is what I'll need to keep coming back to as I get frustrated with my swap, & need a reason to keep going!

Those are some pretty good times. Get some more tires quick and take it back to the track.

Thanks guys !
I looked at my logs for the 3 runs and was getting knock and pulled alot of timing, Noticed when I was at line my LFT's were on the plus side, grrrrr. On return road they went neg like they should have been. Also have very bad lag in shifts btwn 2nd and 3rd. Wish I knew more about tuning, I just never got around to learning it. lol

that real good MPH. With a better launch that car has alot more in it, a converter would help wonders.

Nice vid. Pretty good times with those 60' times. You're combo still has more in her. I ran a 13.20 @110 on street tires with mine last summer with a sucky 2.3 60'. Converter and gears made wheel spin horrendous. I will slap on some drag radials this year after I fix my fuel pump issue.

Not sure of weight, haven't had it on scales yet. 3,387 was curb weight from factory, so I'm guessing now with me in it 3,500ish.
