Default 1985 4wd Chevrolet 4.8 retrofit questions

I have been lurking for quite some time. So hello to all.

I am getting ready for a 2003 4.8L/4L60 swap into my 1985 Chevrolet 4wd.

The truck was originally a 305 with a 4spd manual.

The new motor is a 40k pullout of a 2wd 03 Chevrolet pickup. I have small mid rpm cam from comp (Advertised: 268/269 551/556 on a 114) and a set of comp 918's. The heads are shaved .03.

I am waiting on the truck to come back from paint and looking for some advice on places to get some parts.

I have the original harness and computer and all accesories. The transmission is in the shop for swap to shortshaft 4L60 to bolt up to 4wd.

Questions:

1) Where is the best place to get motor mounts?
2) What are most doing to mate factory wiring? I want to keep my stock gauges if possible.
3) Will a 4wd 4l60 bolt up to a stock 85 transfer case (NP208?)? I dont think it will (truck isn't here to look and see). If so where are you guys getting adapters: Advance adapters?
4) What areas should be of concern. Are there any major mods I am going to have to do to get the motor to fit?

Consider this my research thread (haha) since I have a month to get ready before the swap. Any advice/input/criticism is welcomed. Thanks!

oil pan, motor mounts, and headers, are your biggest obstacles, wiring harness is avaliable. There are quite a few threads on s-10 builds if you search. click on my sig. may help you some.

thanks! I looked through several. I think my oilpan will work...wiring: I will call current performance tomorrow.

Will stock 4.8 truck manifolds not work?

Lastly what are most doing for fuel delivery? I have to deal with dual tanks (yuck). But I may end up only running one.

In applications that do not have s stock style fuel system I like to sump the tank and run a external walbro pump. You will then have to run a regulator or vette filter reg combo.... I am very curious to see if the 4.8 truck oil pan could be made to work with enough setback in the chassis. I have one inch setback mounts available that will allow you to bolt the engine into the chassis using the original sbc mounts..... I do not know if the manifolds will clear but that chassis is pretty darn wide.....
