Default Will this pump work?

Will this fuel pump work? I know everybody says to run the Walbro 255, but I was just browsing Summit and this was featured. Seems like its almost the same as the Walbro, except this one is cheaper.

BTW, my LS motor will be making around 450 HP.

At 43 gph that pump won't support that much HP

the numbers on this site tend to say you need bigger stuff than most people run, but they are saying 450 HP needs about twice as much flow as that pump will support

I see that pump comes with male fuel barbs...Can a high pressure system use clamp-on hose?

I wouldnt think you would have a problem. All the Walbro 255 universal kits I found have barbs to screw into each side.

Yeah as long as you use high pressure fuel injection hose.

Lightbulb Then again...

I guess you could just swap out the male hose clamp push-on barbs to Aero-Quip male Push-Lok barbs(which never come off) or to male AN fittings & go from there.

I sell my walbro pump with the -6 conversion fittings, I don't like the idea of the rubber hose with clamps......
