Default Looking for adapter plate for LSx to 240sx 5 speed

I've always been interested in the LSx swaps but the cost of the 6 speed is way too high.

How come I've never seen anyone making adapter plates to bolt the LSx to the stock 240sx 5 speed? It can obviously handle the power with all the big power KA-T and SR guys running around.

An affordable adapter plate would make this swap sooo much more doable for me.

I don't think the 240sx transmission is going to do it for you. I broke a couple of them when I had my old sr powered s13. Most of the 240sx guys are adapting the z32 300zx 5 speed to the ka/sr now.

Power doesn't mean squat when you are talking about the driveline--torque is what rips transmissions apart. An LS1 makes more torque at 1000 rpm than a typical turbo KA-T makes at peak.

Flywheel and Clutch is probably as big/bigger than the ka/sr tranny bellhousing.

i think the cost to have a adapter plate made will cost as much, and probably not work as well.

speed = $$$$$

Just save up man and do it right. A built t56 will do you good.
