I'm planning on going with the lq4 an trying to get about 400 hp is good enought for me

hey guys my question is I am doing a 6.0 swap on my 98 but i can not find an answer to what fly wheel and adapter I need to bolt this to my existing 4L60E

The TBI pump only puts out like 15psi so you will have to upgrade. I thought the easy way was to unbolt the 6 front bolts in the bed and loosen the last 2 and i jacked the bed up like a dump body. Easy access to pump just make sure you put something in there for safety.

^^^he is correct. The stock tbi pumps only put out 15psi. The 96-98 trucks are efi and are rated at ls fuel psi. So there pump can be used in stock form if needed.

to mate an older 4l60e trans to a ls will need a crank spacer. Not certain on this tho. Spacer goes behind flexplate. Check to be certain tho.

also, hope you have some spare 4l60e's hanging around cause the torque from that 6.0 will tear it apart. 60e's barely survive behind stock 5.3's and older vortec 5.7's when leaning on them not to mention when you start modding them. main reason I found and 4l80e to go behind my 6.0 and will be selling off the 60e out of my truck
