Default LS3 in third gen

I'm swapping an ls3/t56 in a 92 bird anyone know if you can tap into the oil pressure sensor on one and get an accurate, or close, reading for the oil pressure gauge?

thanks

I used an adapter fitting from equus so I could replace the LS3 sender with the stock 3rd gen oil pressure sender in the valley cover. The LS3 sensor is not needed unless you are using 4th gen gauges.

The aftermarket wiring harness has the plug for the ls3 sender, i'm guessing thats for the fuel pump then?
