LS3 Harness Questions Anyone running anything other than the GM management system for the LS3 crate motor? Is it possible to buy an 08 Vette Harness and PCM and turn it into a stand alone harness? Looking for a tunable solution to the LS3 crate motors.

Yes, that solution will work. You can change the factory harness to stand-alone, and then program the computer to your hearts content.
It has also been shown already that the GM Management system can be programmed with a factory VIN # and then reprogrammed also.

Did not know that, what kind of headache is it to accomplish this? or is just a matter of hooking up HPtuners, putting in a vin and going from there?

where did you find the info you were looking for ? I bought a 09 vette harness and I am looking to make it a stand alone harness , for a 69 camaro conversion any links would be great . I am posting for the first time
