The blade is supposed to move a bit when you turn the key to on.It sounds like the tac module is communicating with the ecm but the pedal is not communicating with the tac.

You are going to need a scan tool to make life easier....have to monitor the TPS sensors built into the pedal assembly, commanded vs actual positions...etc....

The features you need are probably only going to be accessable with a TECH2 scan tool. maybe some good other scanners may get to that....

are there any codes in the PCM? can you at least check that?

ok been through this crap for a while getting ready to burn the damn truck, dbw still inop been over it and over it,(even with a tech and a snap on scaner) keeps giving me a p0122 code, could this be due to a tune? i pin tested the tps, seems to be well within range i also double checked wires and replaced the foot pedel sensor what next?????? help please

also when commanding the throttle to move up the with the scanner it did begin to rasie then is went back to idle and ignored the command after that (rpms only rasied a little the first try)

Do you have a spare TAC module and pedal you can try? Is the TAC and the pedal from the same truck...ie match the PCM you have? I here there's a few different one's out there.

did you look at the TP sensor voltage on the scan tool? Did it show 0v or less than .1v? If so check the 5v reference circuit for proper voltage. Those Throttle boddies are known for those kind of issues in their original vehicles.

I am guessing this has been fixed, if so what was the problem?
