Now I've seen everthing, very cool I love it. Is that an actual car from the movie? Did you really only give 700 dollars for it? Keep building cars.

One of the single best swaps thus far!!! haha.. I LOVE IT! One of my favorite movies, and that car was def. a big laugh for many scenes. haha.

Good work, and post up some more pictures when you get a chance! Maybe a vid of how it goes...I imagine that sucker has some weight to it. haha.

I don't think I can reply to all these posts!! But, no, it's not an actual movie car, I'm told none of them exist anymore. And yeah, only $700, with 97,000 miles, drives great, A/C blows ice cold, original paint, very little rust, never wrecked, but it was just a real guttless wonder. I'm not gonna say it's super fast now, but ALOT better than the old 302!!!

That would be a good idea, probably a little hard on the timing chain though, but I don't think it's possible. The old 302 would have! LOL

What kind of car did it start off as? And where did you find all of the parts to recreate the movie car? I know those wood panels weren't a factory option. Atleast I hope not! LOL
